OSU hockey returns with fan fest

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Football may be front and center but hockey is around the corner in Columbus and fans of the Ohio State men’s hockey team will get a chance to meet the players and spend a day at the Value City Arena for the team’s first official practice and an exhibition game.

The open practice Saturday, Oct. 4, is free and any fan who attends the open practice will get into the Buckeyes’ exhibition game against Guelph at 4:30 p.m.

Fans can watch the players will skate from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., after which the locker room will be opened for tours and a meet-and-greet 11:00 until 11:30. A fan “press conference” is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in the Board Room.

Food and drink are being served in the Board Room, where fans can watch football, from 10:00 a.m. until the puck drops at 4:30.
From 10:00 a.m. until noon, the OSU ticket sales team will hold a select-a-seat event where season-ticket buyer can choose seats, ask questions or find out more about ticket packages options.
