RailRiders 8, Clippers 5

COLUMBUS – The RailRiders’ Brady Law pitched 2 2/3 innings of no-hit relief to help Scranton/Wilkes-Barre nail down an 8-5 win over the Clippers in the final of a three-game series at PNC Field Wednesday night.

Columbus hitters got all 10 of their hits and all of their runs off starter Daniel Camarena before Law (3-0) and the Scranton bullpen took over in the 5th inning with the score tied at 5-5 and nailed the game shut.

Mike Ford broke the tie with a two-run double in the bottom half of the frame off losing pitcher Stephen Fife (0-3).

Gio Urshela went 2-for-4 with a run and 3 RBI for the Clippers who return to Huntington Park for a three-game series against Indianapolis that begins Friday night (7:15 p.m.).
