COLUMBUS – Columbus police say a 15-year-old boy was found shot to death in a North Linden alley late Thursday night.
UPDATE: This article has been edited to include the name of the victim.
At approximately 11:31 p.m., callers reported an unresponsive man lying in the alley behind a home in the 3100 block of Bremen and some said they had heard several gunshots 15 or 20 minutes earlier, homicide unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.

Officers found D’Ante Marshawn Smith, 15, in the alley, suffering from a gunshot wound, Strayer said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Strayer says investigators have no suspects, known witnesses or motive.
The investigation continues.
This is the 50th homicide in Columbus this year.
