COLUMBUS – Columbus starter Aaron Pinto gave up three first inning home runs as the Nashville Sounds beat the Clippers 6-2 Saturday night at Huntington Park.
Brice Turang, the second batter Pinto (2-2) faced, hit a solo homer to right field.
David Dahl and Jon Singleton hit back-to-back home runs with two outs to give the Sounds a lead they never relinquished.
The only run Tyler Herb (1-4) gave up in six innings on the mound was a solo home run to David Fry in the second inning.
