NASHVILLE – Keon Broxton drove in the winning run in the 10th inning as the Nashville Sounds snuffed out a rally by the Clippers to win the opener of a series at First Horizon Park 7-6 Wednesday night.
Andruw Monasterio drove in two runs and scored as the Clippers rallied from a 6-2 deficit to tie the score in the eighth.
Daniel Johnson opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first that gave the Clippers a short-lived 2-0 lead but the Sounds scored five runs in the first two frames on the way to building a four-run lead
