DETROIT (AP) — Niko Goodrum homered in the fourth to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 2-1 win over the Reds.
Homer Bailey pitched an eight-inning complete game for the Reds. He retired the first 11 batters he faced before Goodrum went deep for his 10th home run of the year.
Matthew Boyd allowed four hits in eight scoreless innings for the Tigers.
