COLUMBUS – Ohio State used a strong second half to beat Bucknell, 71-48, in its season opener at Value City Arena Wednesday night.
Junior guard Jacy Sheldon led the 17th-ranked Buckeyes with 20 points, the 10th 20-point game of her career and her 38th game in double figures.
Ohio State had three triples in the first four minutes of the second half and outscored Bucknell by a 15-6 margin in the first 4:08, then scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter
