COLUMBUS – No. 8 Ohio State couldn’t overcome a tough shooting night and frll to No. 19 Michigan, 84-75, on Tuesday at the Value City Arena.
Hallie Thome led a trio of 20-point scorers for the Wolverines, going for a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds. Katelynn Flaherty scored 21 points and Nicole Munger turned in a career-high 20 points.
Stephanie Mavunga led the Buckeyes with 21 points.
After falling behind by five points with 2:59 left in the third quarter, Michigan answered with a 9-0 run over the next 1:59 to take a 58-54 lead.
The Wolverines earned their third straight win and avenged an overtime loss to the Buckeyes on Jan. 7.
