COLUMBUS, Ohio – Central Ohio could see its first measurable snowfall of the season this week.
ABC6/FOX28 meteorologist Andrew Michael forecasts rain showers arriving around the time of the Monday evening commute, changing to snow showers before midnight with quickly falling temperatures.
The snow showers continue overnight and should taper off around daybreak Tuesday, Michaels says.
Accumulations will be generally around one inch with some pockets that will experience up to two inches of snow.

The National Weather Service predicts lower snowfall amounts will be seen near the Ohio-Indiana state line and higher accumulations east of the Scioto River valley.
Temperatures will also turn sharply colder Tuesday and Wednesday with Tuesday’s high near 33.
