COLUMBUS – Police say one of the drivers in a fatal head-on crash near the Ohio Expositions Center early Thursday morning may have been impaired.

Greg Davis was driving a Toyota eastbound on E. 11th Avenue, west of Ohlen Avenue, at 3:39 a.m. when the car crossed left of the center line and collided head-on with a car driven by Daniel Witherow between Ohlen and Grogan Avenues, Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the accident investigation unit said.
Witherow, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene, Wilson said
Davis, 33, and Brandon Pannell, 32, a front seat passenger in Davis’s car were taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition, Wilson said.
Wilson says Davis was processed for impaired driving and blood results are pending
The investigation is ongoing.
