COLUMBUS – Police say one man is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting on the East Side Wednesday night.
Officers responding to a call in the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at approximately 9:10 p.m. found Deron Long and Jevon Woods, both suffering from gunshot wounds, according to homicide investigators.
Long, 25, pronounced dead at 9:31 p.m. and Woods, 22, was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition.
Police say the case remains under investigation but there are no known motives or suspects.
