COLUMBUS – One man is dead and another was injured in a shooting on the Northeast Side Sunday, police said.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION:

Detectives say Miles Tolliver and Daylin Pollard were riding in a vehicle together on Yorkhull Lane at approximately 1:55 p.m. when multiple shots were fired at the vehicle from unknown suspects.
Both men were struck by gunfire as they attempted to flee the area, Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer of the Homicide Unit said.
Officers were called to the area of 2061 Yorkhull Lane found Tolliver, 19, lying in the parking lot, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Tolliver was transported by Columbus paramedics to Riverside Methodist Hospital where he died at 2:37 p.m., Strayer said.
Pollard, 22 was found a few streets south of the scene, also suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Strayer said. He was taken to Riverside by Clinton Township medics and was listed in stable condition.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, Strayer said.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
