11 draft-hopeful Buckeyes at NFL combine

COLUMBUS – Heisman Trophy finalist Chase Young leads an 11-player contingent of Buckeyes at the NFL Scouting Combine, which began Monday and runs through March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Ohio State has the second-most players attending this combine, tied with Michigan. LSU, with 16, boasts the highest number of players.

Along with Young, cornerbacks Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette, running back J.K. Dobbins, safety Jordan Fuller, defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, linebacker Malik Harrison, wide receivers K.J. Hill, Austin Mack and Binjimen Victor and guard Jonah Jackson will be hoping to attract the attention of teams who will be selecting players during the draft April 23-25 in Las Vegas.

These 11 players increase the total number of Buckeyes who have been invited to the combine to 71 over the last eight seasons, including a nation’s-best total of 54 in the last five seasons.
