COLUMBUS – Police say an East Side girl who did not return after school Monday is considered at “high risk.”
UPDATE: At 7:45 a.m. Emonie Thompson was located by CPD patrol officers and taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for an evaluation.
Emonie Thompson, 11, was last seen at school but failed to return home after telling a friend that she was running away, according to investigators with the Columbus Police Missing Persons Unit.
Police say Emonie may also be in need of her medication.
She is described as 5’5″ and 110 lbs. with brown hair with maroon color mixed in and brown eyes.
She may be wearing a grey North Face jacket, blue jeans and pink Timberland boots.
