COLUMBUS – Police are asking for help locating a 12-year-old girl who ran away from her West Side home Monday afternoon after an argument with her mother.
UPDATE 7/17/19 8:14 a.m.: Mia’s mother located her and took her home.
Columbus police patrol officers and the division’s helicopter and K-9 units searched for Mia Turner but did not locate her.
She was last seen at about 2:45 p.m., walking in the area of Fremont Street and Eureka Avenue, wearing a black shirt, shorts and headband.
Mia is described as 5’7”/145 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.
