COLUMBUS — Mike Weber rushed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help No. 13 Ohio State blow out Michigan State 48-3 on Saturday.
The Buckeyes rebounded from a deflating loss to Iowa last week in dominating the Spartans on both sides of the ball from the opening kick.
Weber’s career-high performance and 124 yards from J.K. Dobbins led the Buckeyes to amass 335 rushing yards, their most in a game in 2017.
“There was a mandate to make sure those guys touch the ball,” head coach Urban Meyer said after the game. “The flow of the game also dictated that we were controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides…The execution was outstanding.”
The win puts Ohio State in the driver’s seat in the Big Ten East with regular-season games remaining against Illinois and Michigan.
