COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 13-year-old girl is facing a charge of felonious assault after shooting a 12-year-old boy on the Northeast Side Sunday night.
Police have not suggested a possible motive for the shooting. They say Lanazha Watson, 13, and the unidentified boy were with three others inside a home at 964 E. 18th Avenue just after 8:00 p.m. when Watson shot the boy in the neck with a handgun.
The boy was listed in stable condition.
Watson was arrested and charged with felonious assault.
