14-year-old shooting victim dies

COLUMBUS – A 14-year-old girl who was shot in a South Linden home Friday evening has died of her injuries, police said.

Ciara Bray was shot once while inside the home in the 3600 block of Homestead Drive just before 7:00 p.m., said Det. Steve Miller of the Felony Assault Unit.

She was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died on Sunday, Lt. Wade Spears said.

No suspects were named and the incident is still under investigation.

This is the 30th homicide of 2020 in Columbus.
