COLUMBUS – A 14-year-old boy was treated for a gunshot wound after police say he was in the kitchen of a Northeast Side home Wednesday.
Officers dispatched to the 2800 block of Argyle Drive on a report of a shooting at approximately 5:16 p.m. found the teenager suffering from a single gunshot wound.
He told police he was in the kitchen when he heard a loud bang and realized he was shot, said Det. James Franco of the Felony Assault Unit.
The youth was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
