COLUMBUS – Police say they have no suspects or a motive behind a shooting that left a teenager dead on the Far East Side Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the area of Churchside Chase Drive at approximately 4:05 p.m. on a report that a juvenile male was shot, said Homicide Unit Sgt. Stanley Latta.
Mohamed Abdulkadir, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene by Whitehall fire personnel, Latta said.
Investigators are still interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence but Latta says there are no known suspects or motives.
This is the 96th homicide of 2017 in Columbus.
