16-year-old stabs 17-year-old to death

COLUMBUS, Ohio – An argument between two teenage girls on the East Side yesterday afternoon spiraled into a fight that left one of the girls stabbed to death and the other charged with murder.

Columbus police say Jasmine Goodwin, 17, went over to the Kenview Road home of 16-year-old Cierra Howard at approximately 3:00 p.m. and the two got into an argument. When the argument escalated into a fight, Howard stabbed Goodwin to death outside the home.

Howard has been charged with murder.

There was no immediate indication of what caused the fight.
