COLUMBUS – An 18-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting death of 7-year-old boy outside a Northeast Side convenience store Friday afternoon.
UPDATE: A 4-year-old girl was also injured, police said Saturday.
Deonte Fisher was sitting in a vehicle with another child and a 19-year-old man in the parking lot of the Express Mart, 900 E. 5th Avenue when Marctarius Grace (right) fired multiple shots at the vehicle, striking all three, Homicide Unit Sgt. Christ Holzhauser said.
Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene while a 5 – year-old boy and Rayquan Holloway, 19, were listed in stable condition, Holzhauser said.
Grace was arrested on a murder charge.
