COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police are looking for an 18-year-old in connection with a deadly shooting in a Southeast Side strip mall in March.
Nishawn Glenn-Coulverson is accused of murder in the shooting death of Esak Gemeraw on March 20, Homicide Unit Det. Chad Williams said.
Officers responded to a 911 call from the 5500 block of Deforest Drive where the caller said someone had been shot while riding in a car, Williams said.
Gemeraw, 21, was located and taken to a hospital where he died shortly after arrival, Williams said.
Officers responding to a shooting report a few blocks away determined that Gemeraw had been shot in front of a strip mall on Chatterton Road near Fox Chaple Drive, said Williams.
An arrest warrant was issued for Glenn-Coulverson on a murder charge was filed Tuesday, Williams said.
