COLUMBUS – A man and a woman have been arrested in the drive-by shooting death of a 16-year-old boy on the South Side Wednesday afternoon.
Columbus police have charged Dustin Parsley, 22, and Alexandria Bowen, 21, with murder in the death of the teen, who was shot in the area of Reeb Avenue and S. 6th Street shortly after 5:00 p.m., Sgt. Chris Holzhauser of the Homicide Unit said.
Holzhauser says the initial investigation indicated the shooting may have stemmed from an on-going dispute, but the exact motive remained unknown.
This is the 51st homicide of the year.
