COLUMBUS – A shootout following a home invasion in London Monday night left two men dead and two others injured.

Police say gunfire erupted just before 11:30 p.m. at the Madison Lamplight Court Apartments where officers found two men outside one of the apartments on Lamplight Lane, both suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a press release posted on the city’s website.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene while the second was taken to Madison Health by Madison County emergency medical personnel, city officials said. That victim was transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he died.
A third victim was driven to Madison Health by a neighbor and was transferred to OSU Wexner Medical Center, officials said.
A fourth man showed up at a hospital in Springfield with gunshot wounds.
No names were released pending notifications, the release stated.
