CINCINNATI (AP) – Police say a young man fatally shot his two teenage sisters and injured a teenage boy as the trio sat in a minivan in the backyard of a suburban Cincinnati home.
Matthew Hayden, 21, surrendered when officers arrived at the home after getting a 911 call about the shooting Wednesday morning, said Colerain Township police spokesman Jim Love. Hayden is charged with murder and attempted murder, Love said.
Hayden is in custody and can’t be reached for comment. Court records list no attorney for him.
Investigators allege Hayden fired repeatedly at the van with a handgun. Love says he has no information about a possible motive or the ages of the teenagers.
Court records identify the victims as Elizabeth and Sarah Hayden and Joshua Hacker.
