COLUMBUS – Two people were killed and four others, including two teenagers, were injured in shooting incidents in Columbus in less than 12 hours.
A 28-year-old woman was killed in a shooting on the Hilltop, the 118th homicide of 2021 in Columbus.
Amber Calloway died at OhioHealth Medical Center after officers found her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a common area outside an apartment building in the 700 block of Doulton Court at 9:43 p.m., Sgt. David Shimberg of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.

A 32-year-old man is under arrested, charged with murder in the shooting death of his 76-year-old father, Sgt. Edward Powell III said.
Bryan Johnson allegedly shot his father, Lewis, during a domestic dispute inside a home in the Walnut Heights neighborhood on the Southeast Side at approximately 10:51 p.m., Powell said.
This was the 119th homicide of the year.
An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were injured, one of them critically, when a dispute between neighbors on the East Side turned violent Tuesday night.
McKai Cousins and a 17-year-old girl were shot in the area of 66 S. Douglass Street at approximately 9:00 p.m. when two people opened fire on a vehicle containing four passengers during an argument that stemmed from an incident of property damage, detectives said.
Karmicia Briley, 32, was charged with felonious assault and police say they are looking for a second suspect who fired a weapon into the vehicle, crucially injuring one of the people inside.
Police say one person was injured when someone shot at a 17- and a 14-year-old as they were walking in the 1300 block of Myrtle Avenue at 2:19 p.m. and a man was shot on W. Frankfort Street early Wednesday.
