COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police are looking for two men who broke into a Franklinton home last night and shot two men to death.
Investigators say several persons were inside the home at 85 Stevens Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. when witnesses say two black men broke in through the back door and fired several shots before running away.
Robert Bass, 22, was shot in the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, detectives say.
Cherod Houchins, 21, was also shot in the upper body and was taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital where he died shortly after 11:00 p.m., police said.
These were is the 58th and 59th homicides of 2014 in Columbus.
