COLUMBUS – Police are looking for two unidentified people and a white sedan in connection with a double-shooting on the Northeast Side Thursday morning that left one man fighting for his life.
Officers investigating a report of a shooting found the men in a vehicle at a parking lot outside the Express Market at E. 5th and Peters Avenues shortly before 10:30 a.m., said Sgt. Dave Sicilian of the Columbus Police Homicide Unit.
One man is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries while the other is in stable condition and is expected to live.
Sicilian says one of the suspects fired several shots at the victims from the front door of the store and fled with another suspect southbound on Peters Avenue in a white four-door sedan with tinted windows.
Police had not released the names of the victims early Friday.
