COLUMBUS – For the second time in three days, Columbus police are investigating a shooting that has taken the life of a teenager.
Thirteen-year-old Sinzae Reed was shot to death at approximately 5:46 p.m. in the 800 Block of Wedgewood Drive where he was found by officers arriving at scene after being dispatched on a reported shooting, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Homicide Unit said.
The officers rendered first aid until Mifflin Township paramedics arrived and took him to Doctors West Hospital where he died later, Powell said
This is the 111th homicide Investigation in Columbus this year

Reed’s death came two days after 15-year-old girl Lovely Kendricks was shot to death at Franklin Park.

Investigators have filed an arrest warrant for an 18-year-old suspect wanted in connection with her death.
According to the Columbus Division of Police Twitter feed, Roshawn Adkins Jr. has been charged with one count of murder.
