2023 Buckeye football schedule finalized

COLUMBUS – The Buckeyes will play an even split of six home games and six road games during the 2023 football season, beginning with their season opener at Indiana on Sept. 2.

The Big Ten released the conference schedule yesterday, the first with its recently announced media partnerships with CBS, FOX, NBC, Peacock and the Big Ten Network.

The 2023 schedule reflects revisions that were made as a result of changes made to the 2020 schedules due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ohio State will make a total of three visits to the Hoosier State next season. In addition to the opener in Bloomington, the Buckeyes will also play at Notre Dame on Sept. 23 and three weeks later at Purdue, on Oct. 14.

The home schedule is highlighted by games against Penn State on Oct. 21 and Michigan State on Nov. 11.

The annual rivalry game against Michigan will be played in Ann Arbor on Nov. 25.

Along with Notre Dame, non-conference games will also be played against Youngstown State on Sept. 9 and Western Kentucky on (Sept. 16).
