COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gas prices rebounded Wednesday morning, jumping 25 cents overnight, according to a daily survey of gas stations.
The average price of a gallon of regular gas in Columbus was $2.32, 27 cents higher than Monday, according to the report from the AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX, Inc.

The average price of gas in Columbus has dropped for two weeks in a row after soaring from less than $2 a gallon to nearly $2.50 at the beginning of March (see graph) due to scheduled maintenance at refineries and labor disputes.
The prices at the pump in Columbus and the rest of Ohio are at the same place they were a week ago and are still 10 cents below the national average price of $2.42 a gallon.
Prices are more than a dollar cheaper than they were at this time last year, thanks to a drop in crude oil prices.
