COLUMBUS – Three men were injured in a shooting outside Eastland Mall Sunday afternoon.
Officers dispatched to one of the entrances to the mall from Refugee Road on a reported shooting at approximately 2:22 p.m. found Edward Stevenson, Davaris Luton and Demetrius Ferguson suffering from gunshot wounds, Assault Unit Det. Deryl Kowalski said.
Stevenson and Ferguson told investigators they were stopped at the light on Refugee Road at the mall entrance when an unknown black man pulled up next to them in a white Chevrolet Impala and fired multiple gunshots into their vehicle, said Kowalski.
Stevenson, 32, was struck in his left elbow and Luton, 27, was hit multiple times all over his body, Kowalski said.
Kowalski says Ferguson,25 was struck in his left leg and went to the hospital in critical condition.
Stevenson and Ferguson were listed in stable condition.
