5 teens charged with 15-year-old’s murder

COLUMBUS – Five boys, ranging in age from 15 to 18, have been accused in the drive-by shooting death of a 15-year-old boy on the East Side earlier this month.

Keelland Sotton, who was arrested shortly after the crime, and Akilahn Blackwell, both 15; Anthony Montgomery and Christian Woods, both 17, and Tylor Dodson, 18, have all been arrested on charges of murder and felonious assault in connection with the shooting that left 15-year-old Kaleb White dead, according to Sgt. Christ Holzhauser of the Homicide Unit.

White was shot from a car while walking along Barnett Road with two girls, ages 15 and 16, on the evening of Feb. 12 when someone opened fire from a black car, hitting White who was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
