COLUMBUS – Police have not filed charges yet in the death of a 7-year-old girl who was killed when she was struck by an SUV in the parking lot of a Northeast Side apartment complex Wednesday evening.
Columbus police say Labite Eyram Agbodjan, 68, was driving in the parking lot of the complex at 4781 Kingshill Drive at 7:00 p.m. when the girl crossed in front of his 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and was struck by the vehicle, said Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the Accident Investigation Unit.
The girl, whose name was not released early Thursday morning pending notification of family members, was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead, Wilson said.
The investigation is continuing.
