COLUMBUS, Ohio – An accused gunman is at large after an argument during a card game turned violent on the East Side Thursday night, leaving a woman nursing a gunshot wound in the foot.
Columbus Assault Unit detectives say Lee Porter, 43, was playing cards at his neighbor’s apartment at 955 E. Whittier St. around 9:30 p.m. when he began arguing with Jeff Caldwell.
The argument turned into a fight and Porter was asked to leave, police said.
Porter left but investigators say Latasha Stanley told them he came back and fired multiple gunshots into the apartment, hitting Stanley her right foot.
Stanley, 32 was listed in stable condition.
Porter fled before police arrived.
