COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Military Veterans Resource Center will celebrate Armed Forces Day Saturday with a free round of golf for Ohio vets.
The organization’s first annual “Veterans Golf Free Day” is scheduled at the Forrest E. Everhart Golf Course on the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe.
The event includes nine holes of golf, use of a golf cart, door prizes, a raffle and lunch for eligible veterans and military members.
Because of a large expected turnout, participants should contact Randy Post at the golf course at 740-774-VETS to schedule tee times.
The event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. and the last tee times will be scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
