COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man and a woman were being held for questioning in the death of an eight-month-old child who suffered multiple injuries, police said.
Police and paramedics responded to a report of a baby who was unresponsive inside an apartment at 243 Martin Avenue at approximately 1:57 a.m., detectives said.
The infant girl had sustained multiple injuries and was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she died.
A man and woman who were in the apartment were taken to police headquarters for questioning, detectives said.
