Baby’s January death ruled a homicide

COLUMBUS – Columbus police are treating the death of a 3-month-old baby in January as a homicide.

Annalise Murphy died on Jan. 24, two days after being brought to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and detectives began in investigation, police said.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office ruled on July 3 that the cause of death was a homicide, the 57 of the year in Columbus.

This incident is still under further investigation but police have not released any information on a motive or suspect.
