COLUMBUS – No one is saying what might have prompted a 52-year-old Northeast Side man to stab his young grandson Wednesday morning, sending the child to the hospital with injuries.
Abdulkadir Inman has been charged with felonious assault and taken to the hospital for observation following the incident at his residence on Sierra Ridge Drive just after 11:00 a.m., said Det. Todd Jones of the Domestic Violence Unit.
Maher Modamed, Imnan’s 20-month-old grandson, was also taken to the hospital with injuries to his head and neck, Jones said.
There was no information on the child’s condition early Thursday.
