COLUMBUS, Ohio – Authorities in Delaware County continue to search for a bank robber, but say the getaway vehicle Scott Thomas used in his alleged holdup has been found.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Scott Thomas in connection with the robbery of the Huntington National Bank at 8671 Owenfield Drive in Lewis Center Saturday morning, Sheriff Russell Martin said.
The stolen four-door Honda Accord was recovered Sunday morning in the area of West Broad and Belvidere Streets, Martin said.
Martin says Thomas, apparently unarmed, walked into the bank at about 10:40 a.m. (above) and handed a note to a teller demanding money with no dye packs.
When he got the money, he went to the Chipotle restaurant next door and drove off in the stolen Honda, Martin said.
Thomas is described as 5’9”/175lbs and is believed to be in the Columbus area.
Anyone with information on Thomas or his whereabouts is asked to call the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office at 740-833-2800.
