Bats 3, Clippers 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers fell to the Bats 3-2 Sunday as a five-game home-and-home series between the two shifted to Louisville.

With two outs in the fifth, Giovanny Urshela delivered with a two-run triple to tie the score, but Louisville retook the lead in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Chris Nelson.

Tim Crabbe (3-5) earned the win, pitching 1-1/3 innings and only allowing a walk. Kyle Davies (2-3) 7 innings and allowed all three runs.

The Clippers had taken two out of the three games at Huntington Park, capped off by a doubleheaders sweep on Saturday.

The second and final game for the quick trip to Louisville begins at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
