COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers carried a 4-1 lead into the ninth inning, but Louisville’s six unanswered runs handed the Clippers a 7-4 loss in extra innings Tuesday night at Huntington Park.
With the Clippers leading 4-1 in the top of the ninth, the Bats scored three runs, two of them on a single by Irving Falu.
Dustin Molleken (4-1) gave up the Bats’ three runs in the 11th to take the loss.
He intentionally walked Eugenio Suarez to load the bases, then surrendered a single to Ramon Cabrera, scoring Falu, Chris Dominguez and Suarez.
