Bats 7, Clippers 6

COLUMBUS – The Clippers lost the last two games of a three-game series at Louisville, dropping the finale, 7-6, Sunday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

Columbus took a 6-1 lead in the top of the fifth but the Bats answered with five runs in the bottom of the innings to tie score and Aristides Aquino won it for Louisville with a two-out solo homer off losing pitcher Chich-Wei Hu (1-4) in the seventh.

Eric Stout (1-1) got the win for Louisville.

The Clippers move on to Toledo for a three-game series as they conclude an eight-game road trip against International League West Division opponents.
