Battle of Ohio II: Indians 4, Reds 3

CINCINNATI (AP) — Melky Cabrera lofted a go-ahead two-run homer into the left-field seats in the sixth inning, and the Indians rallied to beat the Reds 4-3.

The win was the fifth in a row for Cleveland.

The Indians held the Reds scoreless after a three-run first.

Cody Reed walked Yonder Alonso before allowing Cabrera’s third homer of the season.

Four relievers combined for 3 2/3 scoreless innings before Brad Hand worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth for his 28th save.
