COLUMBUS – If it’s good enough for the ‘Shoe, It’s good enough for the Schott.
Buckeye fans will be able to buy beer and wine anywhere inside the Schottenstein Center starting with the men’s basketball game against Mount St. Mary’s on Sunday, athletics department officials announced Wednesday.
The expanded service in the entry and terrace levels will be available to fans of men‘s and women’s basketball and men’s ice hockey.
The expanded sale of beer and wine at the Schottenstein Center is an extension of a pilot program undertaken this fall which allowed beer and wine sales to fans with club and suite level tickets at Ohio Stadium, said Associate Athletics Director Dan Wallenberg.
Beer and wine have been available on the club level at the Schottenstein Center since the building opened in 1998.
