COLUMBUS, Ohio – The next episode of winter weather in central Ohio will bring a mix of snow, sleet and rain, starting Monday afternoon and continuing into Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 1:00 p.m. Monday through 4:00 a.m. Tuesday for Delaware, Licking and Union counties. (See above)
Areas north and west of Columbus can expect to see 2-4 inches of snow (see below) while, to the south, there will be less snow and more of a wintry mix Monday evening and Monday night, ABC6/FOX28 meteorologist Andrew Michael says. Southern Ohio will stay mainly rainy and see less than an inch of snow on the tail end of the system Monday night.

The winter of 2013-14 is already one of the five snowiest in Columbus history and is straining the resources of state and local governments charged with keeping roads and streets clear.
Temperatures begin to warm up over the rest of the workweek.
