CLEVELAND (AP) — Buffalo quarterback AJ McCarron suffered a potentially serious right shoulder injury in the Bills’ 19-17 win over the Browns.
McCarron, who is competing with Nathan Peterman and rookie Josh Allen for the starting job, was injured at some point in the first half.
The Bills didn’t announce he was hurt until the fourth quarter.
Allen and Peterman each threw TD passes.
A person familiar with the negotiations says free agent Dez Bryant concluded his visit with the Browns without agreeing to a contract, but “conversations continue.”
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the talks.
Bryant was cut in April after eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
Bryant is intrigued by the Browns, who went 0-16 last season but have upgraded their talent.
