Bisons 4, Clippers (12)

COLUMBUS – A walkoff single in the 12th inning gave the Bisons a 4-3 win over the Clippers in Buffalo Sunday night, the second straight loss for Columbus after their eight-game winning streak came to an end Saturday.

The Clippers jumped out to a 3-0 lead, fueled by a two-run double by Michael Martinez in the second, but saw it erased in the eighth by Matt Hague’s 3 run home run.

After Trey Haley (1-1) walked Munenori Kawasaki to load the bases with two outs in the bottom of the 12th, Dalton Pompey lined a single to center field to bring Josh Thole home with the winning run.

The Clippers return to Huntington Park Monday for a two-game series with Louisville.
