“Blue” Jackets

COLUMBUS – The Blue Jackets return home to Nationwide Arena trailing the Pittsburgh Penguins two games to none in their best-of-seven first-round Stanley Cup playoff series.

Sidney Crosby had a goal and two assists as the Penguins downed Columbus, 4-1, in Game 2 of the series in Pittsburgh Friday night.

Marc-Andre Fleury handled 39 shots and had another 23 blocked by teammates. Fleury has made 70 saves in the two games since Matt Murray suffered a lower-body injury during warmups before the opener.

Jake Guentzel had a goal and an assist for the Pens, who head to Columbus for Game 3 on Sunday night.

Brandon Saad scored the Blue Jackets’ lone goal and Sergei Bobrovsky turned back 28 shots.
